Internet Safety
This year our College decided to participate in raising awareness on internet safety issues by holding an event designed to do just that- Safer Internet Day. This was an across College event with all sectors being asked to contribute. The digital media students were asked to plan, design and create a video that could be showcased at the event. Each student was also asked to develop a website that could be linked to our own 404found College website.

The students were sepearted into teams and each chose a topic relating to an internet safety issue. Roles were allocated to team members and each had to produce resources for the event.
A Success Story
Judging by the amount of people who visited the event and the positive feedback received, the event was deemed to be a great success and we hope to hold another next year. A number of our students were also asked to take further their message on how to deal with cyberbullying by visiting other College classes – again receiving positive feedback from staff and students alike. Have a look at some of the work the students produced.
