Joni Wins Gold
The UK runs regional and national competitions in various categories. Joni entered the competition for the Web Design in the Information Technology category. After reviewing Joni’s portfolio she was selected to go the national finals in Milton Keynes where she got a gold medal which was presented at the Worldskills UK Scottish Awards Ceremony held at Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh on 22 March, 2010.
Joni is a very hard working and competitive student who is always looking at producing the best design in the class. She is not afraid of trying new things which makes her designs quite unique. She has always shown very good awareness of the web development principles. This together with her technical capability and sense of imagination has helped Joni produce some very good designs. Joni would make a very successful career as a web designer.
