Over a 3 week period, students were tasked with the development and production of a video about a chosen mental health problem/stigma.
This exercise took place over three weeks, as follows
The class was split into groups (2-3 students in each). The group decided on one of the mental health problem/stigma from the seemescotland.org.uk website. The groups then had to submit an outline storyboard for agreement.
In week 2, the students started filming their story. We discussed composition and camera angles, for formats like documentaries or first-person POV.
Week 3 focused on editing the projects, and exporting the final project for submission. The classes then voted for the best film,
and Anni Mitchell selected the best overall. They were also shown to Occupation Health, and Katrina Thomson (Principle Nurse)
gave additional feedback and suggested improvements for next a future project.
