Spain Study Tour

From the 17-27 March, 2010 A group of business and computing staff and students from Aberdeen College travelled to Zaragoza from 17-27 March, 2010 to undertake the investigation with their Spanish counterparts in Instituto de Educacion Secundaria Santiago Hernandez after a preparation and planning phase. The need was to identify business opportunities within another European country in a practical manner using methods and techniques explored in a theoretical fashion during classroom lessons. The outcome took the form of project reports by the students and dissemination of their findings via business agencies such as the Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce and Scottish Enterprise Grampian with accompanying publicity.

HND Interactive Media Students were asked to design a website as part of the dissemination process by the European Projects at Aberdeen College. In this website you will find information about the research project, the Ecommerce Exhibition and some of the presentations which were organised by our Spanish counterparts. You will also find a photo gallery showing some of the activities and events which took place during this educative 10-day trip. There is also a feedback form which visitors to this website can post comments about the website as well as contact the European Projects department at Aberdeen College.

The website designed and developed by Mark Innes was the one chosen out of the 12 websites presented.
